Jami lloyd - clinician bio

Jami Lloyd is an ERTC-peer support team trained, Licensed Professional Counselor, specializing in trauma counseling and holds a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology with 20+ years in the counseling field.  She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR),Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Counseling (TFCBT). Jami is in private practice offering therapy services for a multitude of Mental Health issues including but not limited to: Trauma, PTSD, Crisis Intervention, Anxiety disorders, Depression, Grief and Loss, and Sex Abuse treatment. Additionally, she provides clinical consultation for a number of agencies in Western Colorado and is contracted with Grand Junction Fire Department, Grand Junction Police Department, Mesa County Sherriff’s office, Colorado River Fire Rescue, CareFlight of the Rockies, Grand Valley Fire District and Montrose Police Department, providing individual therapy for first responders as well as training and clinical supervision for their Peer Support Teams.  Jami has been contracted to facilitate Critical Incident Debriefings and Diffusing’s for other responder agencies on the Western Slope of Colorado. She works solely with adults and does not work with individuals under the age of 18. Jami has specialized working with first responders and is experienced working with many other diverse populations. Her hobbies include running, camping, hiking and anything outdoors.
